A Word Behind You

Book Two, Isaiah Cadre Series

Although the Lord has given you bread of privation and water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher.   Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.  Isaiah 30:20, 21

Determining God's will is an area that often leaves believers feeling ill-equipped in their faith. And what happens when you think you've figured it out ... but it all falls apart? Sheila is a senior at Westmont College, who falls in love with a man of a different race. As they struggle to reconcile their relationship with conflicting beliefs and expectations, they learn to discern God's Will for themselves as individuals and as a couple. This is also the continuing story of Kelly & Matt and their friends, following the first book in the series: Now It Will Spring Forth.

Have you heard the word behind you?

Keeps getting better! The characters become more nuanced, and their experiences more complicated, as they wrestle with life decisions, faith, and inner struggles. Read book 1 first... and then you will HAVE to read this one! ~ Judy

I have finished "A Word Behind You" and all I can say is Wow again! It was hard to put this book down.  The stories took me by surprise and left me in suspense. They take unexpected turn of events. Things happen you just don’t expect. I love how these books have also taught me things spiritually and about life, love, peace, grace, friendships, relationships, family and life dynamics.  These stories are also giving me tools on how to grow as a person and a Christian. What a talented writer! I love how she uses real geographic places, historical events and timelines.  I plan to gift these books to my granddaughter going to college, daughter, family, friends and others!  ~ Yurri
